Don’t be a mug, recycle your paper cups!
As part of our commitment to the environment we are now the member of the Simply Cups recycling scheme. Simply Cups is a partnership formed between Closed Loop Environmental Solutions and Simply Waste Solutions that will provide paper-cup manufacturers, organisations operating in the supply chain as well as beverage and hospitality outlets with a cost-efficient collection and recycling service that will reduce their operating costs and improve their environmental credentials.
Launched in August 2014, the initiative will help to recycle the 2.5 billion-plus paper cups used in the UK each year which are sent to general waste where they are either landfilled or incinerated. Recycling plants reject the cups, finding it problematic to separate the cardboard from the internal, water resistant plastic film coating.
The Simply Cups recycling scheme is the solution. Simply Cups provide companies with bins, bags and a frequent collection service.
